The canonical per-parameter tool reference lives in `packages/cli/skill/fusion/references/extension-tools.md`; this section is a user-facing summary of the mission-planning tool surface.

Updates an existing milestone's `title`, `description`, or `acceptanceCriteria`. Partial patches leave untouched fields intact — fields omitted from the call are not modified.
