633644a665 chore: clear pre-existing lint warnings
Annotate the intentional NUL-byte regex in log-sink, drop two stale
eslint-disable directives whose underlying any-uses are gone, and swap
@ts-ignore for @ts-expect-error in routes.test.ts.

55cef71b8f fix: kill agent-spawned bash trees and dev servers on dashboard shutdown
TUI quit ('q'/Ctrl+C) bypassed signal handlers via process.exit(0), and
neither shutdown path closed the HTTP server, so server.close()'s
stopAllDevServers() listener never ran. In-flight agent bash commands
(spawned detached for their own pgroup) were also never aborted, so
their subprocess trees — including vitest workers — survived as orphans.

Route the TUI quit through SIGINT so the registered shutdown handler
runs, await stopAllDevServers() in both shutdown paths, and abort
in-flight bash on every active agent session at the start of the
runtime drain so killProcessTree reaches every grandchild.

e8aab69c67 fix: regenerate pi-claude-cli MCP config per session and auto-sync skill tools
The MCP config was generated lazily once and locked, so engine session-scoped
tools (fn_review_spec, fn_review_step) never reached the Claude CLI subprocess
and triage/executor sessions failed with "unknown tool" errors. Now the config
is hashed per call and rewritten when the tool set changes.

Also adds scripts/sync-fusion-skill-tools.mjs to regenerate the SKILL.md
tool-categories block from extension.ts at build time, with a --check mode
wired into skill-sync tests so drift fails CI.

c85dbc9bc6 feat(tui+release): persist vitest memory guard, aggregate root CHANGELOG, lockstep all packages
TUI: vitest memory-guard threshold and on/off toggle now persist to
global settings (vitestAutoKillEnabled / vitestKillThresholdPct), so
they survive dashboard restarts. Stats panel shows the system-memory
used percentage next to used/free. Utilities panel exposes [+/-] to
adjust the threshold in 5% steps (50–99%).

Release: scripts/release.mjs auto-syncs a root CHANGELOG.md aggregated
from every packages/*/CHANGELOG.md, grouped by version with one
sub-block per package.

Versioning: all private @fusion/* packages joined the changesets fixed
group with the public cli + cli-alias and were aligned to 0.2.5, so
every release bumps every package and produces per-package CHANGELOG
entries that the aggregator picks up.

2ae7091049 fix(cli): drain perf_hooks buffer to stop Ink dev-mode heap leak
Ink/react-reconciler in dev mode emits performance.mark/measure() on every
render. Without a PerformanceObserver, Node retains every entry in the User
Timing buffer forever — ~165 renders/sec in the TUI accumulate ~600MB of
PerformanceMeasure objects + diff strings ("Components ⚛", "Changed Props",
"– children", etc.) over 20-30min, which is what was OOM-crashing long dev
sessions. A 30s interval calling clearMeasures()/clearMarks() drains it.

Also teach scripts/dev-with-memory.mjs to forward --inspect /
--inspect-brk, plus auto-add --heapsnapshot-near-heap-limit=3 so any future
heap-limit OOM auto-dumps. The script now invokes node directly with tsx's
preflight + loader (resolved via require.resolve) instead of going through
the .bin/tsx wrapper, so the inspector attaches to the real app process
instead of a parent wrapper that exits before serving the websocket.

20cc24038b fix(tui): partial fixes for resize / wrong-height layout
Several layered defenses against the layout occasionally rendering
at the wrong height (header pushed off-screen, content too tall).
Still not fully resolved — flag for further debug — but this
combination materially reduces frequency, especially under tmux/ssh.

* Enter alt-screen on start (\x1b[?1049h), leave on stop. Gives the
TUI a dedicated fullscreen surface that doesn't share scrollback,
so frames taller than the viewport clip cleanly instead of
scrolling the header into shell history.
* Controller subscribes to process.stdout 'resize' and calls
  inkInstance.clear() — resets log-update's previous-frame line
count so the next render isn't skewed by a stale clear region.
* App-level resize listener bumps a state counter and the root Box
uses key={`${cols}x${rows}`} so React unmounts and remounts the
whole tree on dimension change, bypassing any Yoga layout cache.
* Root Box gets explicit width={cols} + overflow="hidden" so
overflow gets clipped instead of pushing siblings out.
* StatusBar: Text children now wrap="truncate-end" with
flexShrink={0} on the outer Box. Default wrap="wrap" was letting
long hotkey+URL strings wrap to 2 rows, throwing the row budget
off by 1 — the proximate cause of the 151x46 wedge.
* MainHeader outer Box: flexShrink={0} + overflow="hidden" as
  belt-and-suspenders.
* Settings + Utilities side-by-side now match heights: UtilitiesPanel
  uses flexGrow={1} (was flexShrink={0}), so cross-axis stretch
  applies equally.
* StatusModeGrid receives rows as a prop again (single source of
truth from App's render, instead of each child reading its own
  useStdout snapshot).

88b4ecb391 fix(tui): help overlay crash + Main header staying rendered
* HelpOverlay used `key={key}` on each shortcut row, but several keys
legitimately repeat across contexts (`[t]` for Git view AND
Toggle engine pause; `[r]` for Refresh stats AND Refresh agent
detail). React threw "Encountered two children with the same
key" and the overlay crashed. Switch to index-based keys with a
comment explaining each row is unique by position.

* Refresh the help text: unified header tabs, Settings/Files/
Agents ←/→ pane swap, Git push/fetch shortcuts, Files hidden-
  files toggle, Logs G jump-to-end.

* Main (status mode) header sometimes vanished after a tmux pane
switch and only resize fixed it. Two fixes:
  - Remove the `rows < 10` auto-hide in MainHeader. tmux pane
switches can briefly report stale or zero dimensions, and the
transient `return null` orphaned the header.
  - Wrap MainHeader and StatusBar in flexShrink={0} boxes inside
    StatusModeGrid/StatusModeSingle (matching the prior
InteractiveMode fix) so Yoga can't squeeze them to 0 rows.

0f070d850b feat(tui): unified header strip + Settings ←/→ pane nav
Drop the separate section + interactive tab strips for a single
unified strip: [m] Main [b] Board [a] Agents [g] Settings [t] Git
[e] Explorer. Width tiers tightened to fit every terminal size:
full labels at cols ≥ 90, glyph-only at 50–89, FUSION + active
pill only below 50.

New 'm' shortcut switches to status mode (Main); 's' kept as alias.
Number keys 1–5 still jump to status sections under the hood.

Settings view: ←/→ now switch between list and detail panes,
matching Agents view.

1d2fc99188 fix(tui): keep FUSION header from wrapping under flex pressure
Yoga's default flexShrink: 1 was letting the MiniLogo and tab pills
shrink when the header row's collective content exceeded the
terminal width — driving FUSION onto a second line. Pin every
fixed-content header child (logo, dividers, tab pills, help-hint) to
flexShrink={0}; the trailing flexGrow filler still absorbs slack.
Belt-and-suspenders: wrap="truncate-end" on FUSION so any future
constraint truncates instead of wrapping.

d46aa988cc fix(tui): G jumps to last log; Agents ←/→ switch panes
The global "switch to Settings" shortcut matched both g and G, so
uppercase G never reached the logs panel and the vim-style "jump to
end" never fired. Restrict the global handler to lowercase g; G
falls through to the active panel — including the status-mode logs
list (jump-to-newest) and any other scrollable panel that opts in.

Agents view: ← focuses the list pane, → focuses the detail pane,
matching the visual layout. Tab still cycles either direction.

21569e6d48 feat(tui): card windowing, log G-jump, header tiny mode, expand-log width
- BoardView columns now window their card list against the available
rows so the cursor stays visible. Cards beyond the viewport scroll
  in via "↑ N more" / "↓ N more" indicators. Fixes the "can't reach
cards in the Done column" bug — selectedIndex was advancing but the
  cards were clipped.
- Logs section: G (vim-style, in addition to End) jumps to newest
entry. Lowercase g stays as the global Settings shortcut.
- MainHeader gains two new collapse tiers: cols < 50 renders just
FUSION + the active tab pills (no inactive tabs, no dividers); rows
< 10 hides the header entirely so the row isn't wasted.
- ExpandedLog stretches to width="100%" so the panel keeps its width
when an entry is expanded — was collapsing to content width before.
- Lighter blue palette throughout (cyanBright / cyan); status-mode
grid widened to 5:6 so Stats panel gets ~45% of cols.
- Stats: heap limit always on its own continuation row; bytes
formatted with a space ("450 MB") so a forced wrap, if it ever
  happens, breaks after the unit.

07d7bac165 feat(tui): git view, project-scoped task stats, polished layout/theme
- Add a Git interactive view (hotkey [t]/[4]): branch + ahead/behind,
recent commits with detail strip, staged/unstaged/untracked files
panel, branches list, worktrees panel, and a [P] push modal with
pre-flight commit list and capture of stdout/stderr. ←→ cycles
  status → branches → worktrees → commits → changes; ↑↓ navigates
rows in the focused list. 5s poll while mounted.
- Project-scoped task stats: BoardView pushes its selected project
path into the controller; refreshTUIStats now reads from a per-
project TaskStore via a shared getProjectStore helper. Project
switch triggers an immediate refresh via onBoardScopeChange.
- Unified MainHeader used by status and interactive modes — section
tabs ([1]–[5]) and interactive view tabs ([b]/[a]/[g]/[t]) always
visible; previously the interactive header replaced the main one.
- Logs panel keeps its size when expanding a single entry.
- 'f' cycles severity filter from any panel in status mode.
- BoardView: explicit cross-view shortcuts so g/a/t always switch
  views regardless of input-handler ordering.
- BoardView column overlap fix: flexShrink={0} on structural rows.
- TaskCard always shows the title with wrap="wrap"; single short-id
  pill, no duplicate id-as-title fallback.
- Stats panel reorg: StatRow helper, bold section headers, narrow-
width wrap for Heap and Memory trailing fragments.
- Lighter blue palette: cyanBright fg accents / cyan active bg /
logo gradient whiteBright → white → cyanBright → cyan → blue.
- System stats sampler: RSS, heap (V8 limit-aware color), external,
CPU%, load avg, system used/free. Heap thresholds scale off
  --max-old-space-size automatically.
- Test fixture updated for the new InteractiveData.git block.

dbe34bc141 feat(dashboard): polish modal widths, popover usage, onboarding contrast, TUI logo
- Resize the dashboard TUI splash logo to scale with the terminal: a Colossal-font variant kicks in on terminals ≥70 cols × 16 rows; gradient palette is now strictly white → blueBright → blue (no cyan/magenta)
- Lower-clip TUI Kanban cards to a single-line title and constrain each column with overflow hidden so cards no longer bleed past the header row
- Center the TerminalModal vertically by overriding overlay alignment via :has() and trimming the modal height
- Match GitHub Import modal width to the file browser modal (90vw / 1600px max)
- Render the Usage indicator as a top-right popover on desktop instead of a centered modal (mobile keeps the full-screen sheet)
- Widen SetupWizard / Model Onboarding modals (540→880px, 560→880px) and replace the washed-out done step indicator background with a solid success swatch
- Drop the duplicate mailbox icon button from the desktop header (view switch covers it; overflow menu still surfaces it on compact)
- Loosen agent health detection: bump the heartbeat grace multiplier 2× → 4× and the staleness floor 60s → 5min so transient ticks don't flag agents Unresponsive

207e97e6b4 feat(cli): TUI grid threshold, narrow agents view, new-task popup, browser launch
- Lower the multi-panel grid threshold from 100×24 to 80×20 so standard
terminals render the full layout instead of falling back to single-pane.
- Agents view stacks list above detail when cols < 80; Tab focus model
  preserved.
- Board view: press [n] to open a centered create-task popup. Title is
edited via ink-text-input; submit calls TaskStore.createTask, refresh
  the task list on success.
- System panel: shows the tokenized auth URL alongside the token, says
"no auth" plainly when --no-auth was used, and prompts with
"Press [Enter] to open in browser". Enter (while System is focused)
spawns the platform's URL opener (open / start / xdg-open).
- Tighten log-row layout: each row is now a single Text with inline
spans + fixed-width prefix slot so columns align and the highlight
  bar spans the full row.
- Default status section is "logs" so the live feed is what users see
  when they run `fn`.
- Drop the ASCII circle brand mark from the splash; FUSION block
letters + tagline + spinner only, pinned to the top-left.

21d05d8b26 feat(cli): default focus to logs panel and tighten splash + log row layout
- Default activeSection is now "logs" so the live log feed is what the
user sees first when running `fn`.
- Splash drops the ASCII circle brand mark; only the FUSION block-letter
word and tagline remain. The splash always pins to the top-left rather
than centering, so it doesn't shift on resize. Compact terminals show
plain "FUSION" text instead of block letters.
- Log rows render as a single Text with inline-colored spans (marker,
timestamp, level, prefix, message). Prefix sits in a fixed 14-char
slot so the message column aligns across rows, and the selection
highlight now spans the full row width.

4d43bf8d6b fix(cli): make logs panel cursor visible and auto-follow tail
The selection arrow on the dashboard TUI's logs panel was rendering for
the wrong row: the list was reversed (newest-first) but selectedLogIndex
is in chronological order, and the viewport was anchored to the buffer's
tail. On a long log buffer the cursor pointed at the oldest entry, which
was always offscreen.

Switch the display to chronological order (oldest top, newest bottom —
matches tail/less/k9s), compute the viewport from the cursor so the
highlighted row is always visible, and surface "↑ N more / ↓ N more"
hints when entries scroll out of view. addLog now keeps the cursor
pinned to the tail when the user hasn't navigated away, so live logs
follow the latest event.

b890c57a29 feat(cli): merge @fusion/tui into fn dashboard with Ink TUI
Replace the legacy ANSI-based DashboardTUI with an Ink/React rewrite
under packages/cli/src/commands/dashboard-tui/, delete the standalone
@fusion/tui package, and make `fn` (no args) launch the dashboard.

The new TUI keeps the existing 5-panel status mode (system, logs,
utilities, stats, settings) but adds an interactive mode (b/a/g) with
three views: a kanban board with project picker and per-task detail,
an agents list+detail with state management, and a settings editor.
Bordered focus-aware panels, solid-background help overlay, static
all-blue FUSION splash that adapts to small terminals. DashboardTUI
and DashboardLogSink public API are unchanged so dashboard.ts only
needed import-path updates plus interactiveData/loadingStatus wiring.

Also adds zod to @fusion/dashboard to satisfy a peer dep introduced
by pi-coding-agent 0.70.

bce7dbd96f chore: consolidate test files into __tests__/ dirs and clean stray engine artifacts
- Move all co-located *.test.* files into sibling __tests__/ directories so the
layout is consistent across packages (159 renames + content-rewrite moves).
Updates relative imports, vi.mock specifiers, and __dirname/import.meta.url
path resolutions where tests read fixtures from disk.
- Drop tracked tsc-emit alongside engine .ts sources (auth-storage/logger/
  skill-resolver/context-limit-detector/pi.{js,d.ts,*.map}). These were
accidentally committed in a merge and the stale pi.js was masking a real
test-mock vs source mismatch (tests imported "../pi.js" and vite preferred
  the stale build over pi.ts).
- Add packages/engine/.gitignore to block future src/*.{js,d.ts,map}.
- Refactor plugin pi-module seams (openclaw/paperclip/hermes) to ESM-import
  createFnAgent / promptWithFallback / describeModel from @fusion/engine
  instead of require()-ing packages/engine/src/pi.js. Adds @fusion/engine to
the two plugin package.jsons that were missing it; exports describeModel
  from the engine public API.
- Fix engine test mocks now that they run against current pi.ts: add
ModelRegistry.create static to mocks in pi.test.ts and pi-create-fn-agent
.test.ts; switch three boundary-result toEqual assertions to toMatchObject
so the new content/isError fields don't trip exact-match comparison.

fcf47d2c77 perf(cli): skip native-binary build tests by default
The build-exe and build-exe-cross suites invoke `bun build` in beforeAll
hooks and pegged CPU for ~6 min on every test run (one cached-on-miss
build plus three unconditional cross-target builds). Move them to a
dedicated vitest project, skip them unless CI=1 or FUSION_TEST_BUILD_EXE=1
is set, and add cache guards so CI re-runs skip rebuilds when the target
binary already exists. With build-exe out of the default cli run, the
main config can enable fileParallelism.

Run on demand via `pnpm --filter @runfusion/fusion test:build-exe`.

8f5c60fd8c refactor(claude-cli): always load extension, gate via /api/models filter
Previously the vendored @fusion/pi-claude-cli extension was conditionally
loaded based on GlobalSettings.useClaudeCli. That forced a Fusion restart
every time the user toggled the provider card — confusing UX.

Key insight: pi-claude-cli registers a NEW provider id ("pi-claude-cli")
rather than overriding "anthropic", so loading it unconditionally is
safe — direct Anthropic auth and CLI-routed models coexist peacefully.
The extension also gracefully no-ops when the `claude` binary is missing
(see packages/pi-claude-cli/index.ts:106 — the throw is caught locally).

Changes:
 - serve/daemon/dashboard: always append the resolved pi-claude-cli path
   to discoverAndLoadExtensions, no settings lookup.
 - resolveClaudeCliExtensionPaths() takes no args now; always returns the
   resolved path.
 - /api/models filter flipped: hide provider === "pi-claude-cli" when
the toggle is OFF (previously: restricted to those models when ON).
 - POST /api/auth/claude-cli drops restartRequired semantics — toggling
now has immediate effect on the picker.
 - Provider card UX updated to match: "Claude-CLI-routed models are
now visible/hidden from the model picker" instead of "Restart Fusion
   to activate".

d62bf8e24c feat(prompts): require lint alongside tests and typecheck in agent instructions
Every agent-facing quality gate that used to pair tests with typecheck now
also includes lint. Specifically:

- core/src/types.ts: QA Check skill prompt runs lint, tests, typecheck (was
tests only) and gates task_done() on all three.
- core/src/agent-prompts.ts + engine/src/reviewer.ts: "Do NOT issue REVISE"
exclusion list now covers lint as well, so out-of-scope fixes that
restore lint remain allowed (matches the already-lint-aware completion
gate text at the top of the same prompts).
- engine/src/executor.ts: task_done() pre-flight checklist adds an explicit
"if the repo has a lint command, run it and fix failures" bullet, mirrors
the typecheck bullet, and expands the CRITICAL line from "ALL test
failures" to "ALL lint, test, and typecheck failures".
- core/src/store.ts: default Step 2 checklist (Testing & Verification) now
includes Lint and Typecheck alongside "All tests pass".
- cli/src/commands/plugin-scaffold.ts: generated plugin README and the
"Next steps" CLI output include \`pnpm lint\` between install and test.

Existing prompts that already paired lint with tests+typecheck (the
Completion section, hard quality gates, triage testing requirements) are
unchanged.

4101af8547 refactor: eliminate remaining 15 any warnings and ratchet rule to error
- TaskCard: four catch((err: any) => err.message) promise handlers in
  archive/unarchive/delete/move → catch((err) => getErrorMessage(err)).
- InlineCreateCard + QuickEntryBox: .catch((err: any)) model-load handlers
  → getErrorMessage(err) with existing @fusion/core import.
- TerminalModal: drop (navigator as any).maxTouchPoints — modern lib.dom
  types already expose the property.
- serve.ts: remove unused any annotation on OpenRouter model mapper; the
array element type is already inferred from json.data.
- pi.js, runtime-resolution.ts, dashboard.ts, serve.ts, dev-server-port-
  detect.ts, devserver-manager.ts: drop now-stale eslint-disable comments
  that the cleanup made redundant.

Fix a prompt-builder regression surfaced by agent's `any` cleanup: toolCall
with a raw string `arguments` field must be preserved verbatim (JSON-quoted)
rather than coerced to `{}`; restores a previously-passing test.

Then promote @typescript-eslint/no-explicit-any from warn → error. Future
new anys must either come with a one-line disable + justification or use a
real type. Workspace is now lint-clean (0 problems).

4cabe7f613 refactor: eliminate ~400 no-explicit-any warnings across the workspace
Parallel subagent pass: four typescript-pro agents on non-overlapping scopes.

Patterns applied:
- catch (err: any) { ... err.message ... } → catch (err) { ... getErrorMessage(err) ... }
using the new @fusion/core helper. Bare catch {} where the error was unused.
- SQLite row types: defined typed XxxRow interfaces per table and cast
.all()/.get() results via `as unknown as XxxRow[]` (the double cast is
  required because better-sqlite3 returns Record<string, SQLOutputValue>).
- rowToX(row: any) converters: typed argument with the matching row interface.
- Dynamic settings key writes: (settings as Record<string, unknown>)[key].
- React event handlers and setState callbacks: inferred types or concrete
  React.{Mouse,Change,Form}Event<...> where needed.
- pi-claude-cli: local PiMessage / PiContext duck types to avoid re-typing
pi-ai concrete shapes; typed Claude stream event message fields.

72 files changed, ~400 anys eliminated. Typecheck passes across the workspace.

651c5678d2 refactor: fix and tighten mechanical lint rules
- no-useless-escape: drop needless backslashes in character classes and
URL/path regexes (gh-cli, store, task, modelFilter, useFileMention,
  RoutineEditor, ScheduleForm).
- no-case-declarations: wrap case bodies in ProjectOverview and
  SettingsModal with block scopes.
- prefer-const: convert a never-reassigned slug binding in agent-import;
annotate legitimate forward-declared let bindings in dashboard.ts that
  callbacks close over before assignment.
- no-fallthrough: add missing break after settings-subcommand error.
- no-empty-interface/no-empty-object-type: convert ProjectManifest from
empty interface extension to a type alias.
- no-unused-expressions: replace `x && x.method()` short-circuits in
  TerminalModal with optional chaining.

Then ratchet these rules from warn → error so regressions are blocked.

ce167b6397 chore(eslint): fix pre-existing errors surfaced by wider .cjs match
- Widen config match from top-level *.cjs to **/*.cjs so nested CommonJS
scripts (e.g. mcp-schema-server.cjs) get Node globals and require() allowance.
- Replace lazy require() in claude-skills.ts with a normal top-level fs import.
- Tighten an any-typed tool map in pi-claude-cli to { name: string }.

Clears the remaining 12 lint errors; workspace now has 0 errors, 450 warnings.

9cfd09c5d9 refactor: migrate to ModelRegistry.create factory
ModelRegistry's public constructor became private in pi-coding-agent 0.64.
Direct `new ModelRegistry(...)` calls no longer compile. Switch the five
production sites to the factory (`ModelRegistry.create`) and update the
four test modules that mocked the class as a constructor to now mock it
as an object with `create` and `inMemory` static methods.
