Fix bug where navigating into an empty folder in the DirectoryPicker
would automatically revert to the previous folder. The useEffect that
auto-fetches on open was using the stale 'value' prop instead of
'browser.currentPath' after navigation.
Also adds a 'New folder' button to the DirectoryPicker toolbar so users
can create folders directly when setting up a project.

the task INSERT/upsert, TaskRow type, rowToTask mapping) with the column
ordered between paused and userPaused; adopt main's ordering and drop this

Both sides bootstrapped CONCEPTS.md — kept main's broader structure (Missions,
Merge lifecycle, CE sessions) and folded the branch-group vocabulary into its
Merge-lifecycle cluster (enriched Shared branch group + Self-healing sweep;
added Branch assignment mode, Landed, Group promotion). Union-merged core
index/store imports; took main's AGENTS.md discoverability wording. Also adds
execFile to the two child_process test mocks that only stubbed exec (the
coordinator's argv-based git calls now require it).
Add dashboard support for resolving task-branch PR conflicts with AI before PR creation.
- add a dashboard PR conflict resolver that merges the selected base into the task branch, invokes an AI merge session on conflicted files, verifies markers are removed, then commits and pushes the updated branch
- expose a POST /tasks/:id/pr/resolve-conflicts route plus client API/export wiring, docs updates, and a changeset for the published CLI package
- update the Create PR modal UI, styling, and tests to surface preflight conflicts, trigger AI resolution, and refresh preflight state after success
- add API coverage for successful and unresolved conflict-resolution paths and include the new route test in the dashboard API quality shard

CLI prompt nodes now accept a raw cliCommand (any command + args), not just
named scripts. A raw command must be explicitly approved by the user before it
runs: an unapproved command pauses the task (status awaiting-cli-approval) with
the command shown; the user approves via POST /tasks/:id/workflow/approve-cli,
which records the exact command string in settings.approvedWorkflowCliCommands
and resumes. Named scripts (settings.scripts) still never require approval.
Adds POST /tasks/:id/workflow/input to answer await-input nodes (records a
steering comment + resumes).
Extend BranchGroupCard/GroupTaskModal with an Abandon action (open PRs) and
terminal merged/closed badges; promote stays completion-gated. New
fn branch-group list|show|promote (alias fn bg) reaching the same coordinator
path with createGroupPrCallback wired — agent-native parity with the dashboard
promote flow, same completion-gate rejection.
Add WorkflowSelector: a per-task picker in the task detail workflow tab that
applies a workflow (selection returns the resulting enabledWorkflowSteps so the
controlled steps list refreshes in place), and a ProjectDefaultWorkflowField in
Project General settings for the default new tasks inherit.
Treat rewritten integration-branch advances as handled when the working tree is already aligned.
- Add a new `superseded` resolution for unreachable advance SHAs that remain after history rewrites while HEAD matches the local integration tip.
- Update Git status collection logic and route/API status typings to propagate the new resolution state.
- Update Git Manager modal messaging and dismiss behavior so handled `superseded` entries do not show a sync CTA.
- Extend dashboard route and modal tests, and refresh dashboard guide docs for the new classification behavior.

Multiple coordinated fixes for the perceived "dashboard takes forever to
load" complaint. Per-page-load HTTP requests drop from ~177 to ~101 and
duplicate per-project InProcessRuntime creation is eliminated.
- engine: shouldUseHybridExecutor no longer auto-enables for local-only
multi-project setups (set FUSION_HYBRID_EXECUTOR=1 to force). The
duplicate-runtime path was running self-healing twice per project and
contending on the same SQLite file. ProjectEngineManager already
handles N local projects with one InProcessRuntime each.
- dashboard cli: parallelized independent store inits, started
CentralCore.init early in background, ran plugin loading concurrently
with extension resolution. Sequenced SQLite store inits to avoid a
TOCTOU race in addColumnIfMissing migrations across TaskStore /
AutomationStore / PluginStore / AgentStore (all open the same
.fusion/fusion.db). Restored try/catch around HybridExecutor.initialize
and engineManager.ensureEngine so a paused or broken cwd project no
longer aborts dashboard startup.
- dashboard client: added in-flight request dedupe wrapped around the
top API offenders. /api/plugins/ui-slots drops from 17x to 1x per load.
dedupe.forceFresh redirects ALL in-flight waiters to receive the fresh
post-mutation response, not just the forcing caller. Generation
counters in useAgents and AgentListModal protect against slow polls
overwriting fresh state.
- dashboard SSE: agent event handler now debounces 250ms with a
trailing-edge guard so multi-agent activity bursts coalesce to at
most 2 refetches per burst.
- dashboard route: PATCH /api/projects/:id with isolationMode change
returns 503 with actionable guidance when HybridExecutor is
unavailable, instead of silently persisting a config the live runtime
won't honor.
