Fixes ~19 deterministic dashboard test failures pre-existing on origin/main
(non-blocking full-suite lane). Mix of real product fixes and stale-test
reconciliation; no appeasement (no widened timeouts, skips, or weakened
assertions).
Product CSS fixes (real regressions the guards caught):
- Info toast contrast: shadcn-custom light theme had white-on-#0284c7 (4.10,
below WCAG AA 4.5); enrolled it in the light-mode dark-text correction.
- 27 undefined CSS token references (typos/foreign tokens) renamed to canonical
defined tokens; defined the genuinely-intended --border-strong and
--right-dock-min/max-width.
- Raw rgba() box-shadow fallback tokenized to color-mix; dev-server mobile
header split into its own responsive rule.
Stale tests reconciled with intentional product changes:
- workflowColumns graduated to always-on (board-workflows unit test).
- workflow optional-steps source re-pointed to v2 optional-group nodes.
- command-center pricing docs (one doc gap filled: openai-codex:* keying).
- SetupWizardModal added detectWorkspace + workspaceMode/taskPrefix payload.
- board-mobile listener-count assertion → unmount no-throw behavior.
- CommandCenterControls / ThemeSelector: default theme relabeled "Fusion Legacy".
- ProjectOverview / WorkflowNodeEditor: header divider intentionally removed.

The no-dim/no-blur override only applied to docked/floating; a terminal that was neither (mobile/default sheet) fell back to the dimmed base .modal-overlay. Always carry a base terminal-modal-overlay class + a rule that clears background+blur for every terminal state.

Move Clear / Shortcuts / Preferences from the top toolbar into the bottom footer next to the text-size control; text-size sits at the far left, then the action cluster, then connection status pushed right. The pop-out toggle is now icon-only (Maximize2/Minimize2, aria-label/title kept). Footer wraps + the action cluster scrolls on narrow widths.

- Spaced-glyph rendering on fold: FitAddon could fit while the container width was mid-fold-transition, computing a wrong cell width. Add a deferred rAF re-fit once width settles + an orientationchange listener so columns re-settle after a fold/rotate.
- Shortcut bar now scrolls horizontally: keys are flex:0 0 auto (kept intrinsic width so the row overflows) with touch-action:pan-x + overscroll-behavior-x:contain + momentum scroll.

- Floating modals (FloatingWindow, right-dock pop-out, terminal, New Task) now share one z-index stack (floatingWindowStack) — tapping any one raises it above all others regardless of type. Floating overlays reset to z-index:auto so panels interleave in the shared 4000+ band.
- TaskChatTab tests: the test i18n now resolves the entryCount/toolCallCount plural forms (production already had them) so '2 entries'/'7 tool calls' render; fixed stale 'Tool call → result/error' casing to match the rendered 'Result'/'Error'. All 179 pass.

- Terminal move/resize: pointer-capture + captured-element listeners + rAF-batched updates + touch-action:none on the move grip; stop per-move localStorage writes. Matches the dock pop-out smoothness.
- Task detail: Summarize-as-title inline at the title's bottom-right; priority + speed controls shorter and equal height (30px); trimmed the gray id-header vertical padding.
- Fix footer Actions/Move dropdowns that vanished — they opened downward off the panel bottom (clipped by overflow); now open upward (above the trigger).

- Docked terminal resize handle: larger grab target straddling the panel edge with touch-action:none; resize batches height to one rAF update per frame and writes localStorage once on pointer-up (was a sync clamp + write every move).
- Git Manager dock tabs are icon-only in the narrow dock (label sr-only, title/aria-label tooltip) so many tabs fit horizontally.

The base .modal-overlay (dim + blur) and the docked/floating override were both single-class selectors, so stylesheet order could let the dim/blur win and fade the page. Qualify the override with .modal-overlay so the transparent, non-blurring, click-through backdrop always wins.

phones (which exceed 768 CSS px wide) still render the bottom nav and
mobile board layout instead of desktop horizontally-scrollable columns.
- Guard useMobileKeyboard against pinch-zoom (vv.scale > 1) — Android
Chrome ignores user-scalable=no, and a focused textarea + zoom was
false-positiving keyboard-open and hiding MobileNavBar.
- Read documentElement.clientHeight instead of stale window.innerHeight
when computing keyboard overlap (Android multi-window can leave
innerHeight cached at a wildly different value than the actual layout
viewport — observed 2848 while html was 797).
- Add interactive-widget=resizes-content to the viewport meta so Android
Chrome shrinks the layout viewport with the soft keyboard, matching iOS.

Previously the mobile terminal header used flex-wrap to stack tabs and
the action cluster on separate rows. The actions now stay pinned to the
right edge of the header row while the tab bar flexes to fill remaining
width and remains horizontally scrollable.

- WorkflowStepManager: fix React error #310 ("Rendered more hooks than during
the previous render") that broke the workflow steps panel from loading.
`useOverlayDismiss` was being called after `if (!isOpen) return null`, so
the hook count differed between open/closed renders. Move the hook above
the early return.
- ModelOnboardingModal: API-key input + Save button now span the full card
width on mobile via negative inline margins that bleed past the card's
horizontal padding, so the form sits flush to the card edges instead of
picking up a chunky left indent from the icon-row's flex start position.
- TerminalModal: same desktop-min-width-pinning bug as the onboarding modal.
Reset min-width/min-height to 0 on mobile with `!important` so persisted
desktop sizes from useModalResizePersist cannot re-pin the modal at 480×320
on smaller phones. Also add `!important` to the keyboard-overlap height/
max-height so the visual-viewport adjustment wins against the new
fullscreen rule — without this the terminal stayed at 100dvh while the
mobile keyboard covered the bottom of the screen.
- Add 0.7.1 changeset covering the full mobile polish + paperclip CLI parity
+ plugin runtime registry fallback + SCHEMA_VERSION bump series.

Terminal modal and agent detail view are now resizable via the native
CSS grip with sizes persisted per-modal in localStorage. Mobile keeps
fullscreen layout (resize disabled, !important overrides any persisted
desktop dimensions).
Both modals previously dismissed when a drag-resize started inside the
modal but released over the overlay — the synthesised click event
targets the common ancestor (overlay), tripping the e.target ===
e.currentTarget dismiss check. Switched to mousedown→mouseup tracking
so dismiss only fires when both events land on the overlay.
Terminal additionally observes its own pixel box via ResizeObserver
and refits xterm on every grip drag — `resize: both` doesn't emit
window resize.

When the soft keyboard opens on mobile, the overlay's align-items:center was vertically centering the shrunken modal, pushing the header/tabs out of view. Add a rule to switch to align-items:flex-start when --keyboard-overlap is detected.

Sweep 1 of the styles.css split. Rules where the desktop counterpart already
lived in a component CSS file have been moved out of the global mobile @media
block in styles.css and appended to the matching component file's mobile
block. styles.css 4551 → 4488.
Affected components: Header, AgentsView, DocumentsView, ListView, QuickChatFAB,
QuickEntryBox, ScriptsModal, TaskDetailModal, TerminalModal, WorkflowResultsTab.
Truly global mobile rules (input font-size for iOS auto-zoom, html/body
overflow, root safe-area padding, base .btn touch targets, bare element
selectors) intentionally stay in styles.css. The remaining bulk of the mobile
block (settings, auth, board/card, inline-create) cannot move yet because
their desktop rules are still in styles.css — those will fall out as part of
the cards and settings extraction sweeps.

Split app/styles.css from ~40k lines down to ~4.5k. Created 56 co-located
component CSS files in app/components/, each imported by its owning .tsx.
The remainder of styles.css holds genuinely global rules (design tokens,
.btn/.card/.modal/.form-input primitives, cross-component @media overrides).
- Lazy-load 13 heavy views (AgentsView, RoadmapsView, NodesView, etc.) via
React.lazy + Suspense; prefetch all chunks on idle so first navigation is
instant. Initial JS bundle: 1.58 MB → 1.16 MB (-26%). Initial CSS bundle:
635 kB → 471 kB (-26%); the rest splits into 13 per-view chunks.
- Add app/test/cssFixture.ts exposing loadAllAppCss() + loadAllAppCssBaseOnly()
so CSS regression tests load the full per-component bundle (mirroring Vite
source order). Migrate 30+ tests off direct readFileSync('../styles.css').
- Enable test.css: { include: [/.+/] } in vitest.config.ts so component CSS
imports actually inject styles in jsdom (fixes getComputedStyle assertions).
- Add ESLint rule (no-restricted-syntax) banning direct styles.css reads in
dashboard test files; points at loadAllAppCss() instead.
- Restore lost utility classes (.text-muted, .text-secondary, .text-dim,
.form-input) and rescue dropped chat tool-call rules into QuickChatFAB.css.
- Mobile fixes along the way: scroll containment for view containers
(min-height:0 + -webkit-overflow-scrolling), QuickChatFAB full-screen on
mobile (with safe-area-inset for iOS home bar), AgentsView single-row
header layout, ActivityLogModal close button on right, model-combobox
z-index above the mobile quick-chat panel.
- Bug fix: SkillsView toggle was display:none which hid the input from the
accessibility tree; replaced with the visually-hidden pattern so screen
readers + getByRole still find the checkbox.
- Bug fix: standalone Delete button in TaskDetailModal for triage-column
tasks (Actions dropdown is hidden in triage state, so previously no way
to delete a freshly-created task without status change first).
