Adds direct merge commit routing to the merger, allowing non-squash merges to bypass the squash-audit path when configured. The feature includes new `mergeCommitStrategy` settings, updated dashboard UI, expanded merger lifecycle tests, and documentation.

Fixes header action button sizing in the SettingsModal to improve visual alignment across desktop and mobile, with regression tests added to prevent future regressions.
Fusion-Task-Id: FN-3913
This merge lands four features: a new "dreams" notification event exposed through settings and docs (FN-3180), hardened plugin setup sync with test isolation improvements (FN-3573), and feedback-driven enhancements to the native shell connection manager (FN-3402). Core settings schema, the plugin AP

This merge adds pinch-to-zoom, auto-fit, mobile layout, and empty state to the dependency graph view, along with a mobile spacing fix for the Remote Access header, a TypeScript cast fix in the engine's AuthStorage proxy set trap, and test coverage for both features. Test performance was improved by
Fusion-Task-Id: FN-3295
Merges FN-3008 to add a "fallback-used" notification system: the engine now emits events when AI model fallbacks are triggered, dispatches notifications via ntfy/webhook providers, surfaces a session banner in the dashboard, and exposes a settings toggle to enable or disable these alerts.
Fusion-Task-Id: FN-3008
Aligns the settings modal heading indentation and subsection heading underlines to a consistent CSS contract, adding tests to lock the alignment behavior across both desktop and mobile viewports.
Fusion-Task-Id: FN-3200
This merge lands v0.14.0, bringing task ingest contract documentation and todo creation wiring (FN-3065), a new Global → General settings pane with `fn --version` integration, and a fix for persisting priority changes from PATCH /tasks/:id. All changeset artifacts were consumed by the release; 53 fi

Research settings sections in the SettingsModal are now gated behind the feature flag, with docs updated to document the gating behavior. Tests cover both desktop and mobile settings views for the new gating logic.

Sweep 3 of the styles.css split. Five settings-related blocks moved out of
the monolith into a single co-located SettingsModal.css. styles.css 3304 →
2509 (–795 lines).
Blocks moved:
- /* === Settings Layout === */ (194 lines)
- /* === Notifications Settings === */ (28 lines)
- /* === Memory Settings === */ (112 lines)
- /* === Auth Provider Cards === */ +
/* === Provider Connection Status === */ (165 lines combined)
- /* === Settings: Model Presets === */ (93 lines)
- Settings lane badges + descriptions (~27 lines)
Mobile @media rules whose selectors matched the moved blocks were also
migrated into SettingsModal.css's mobile block.
Kept global with documented reasons:
- .auth-status-badge (and color modifiers) — consumed outside settings by
ModelOnboardingModal and ClaudeCliProviderCard.
- .settings-empty-state, .settings-muted, .settings-loading — broad reuse
across BackendConnectionErrorPage, PluginManager, MemoryView etc.
Cross-component imports added: MemoryView.tsx and ModelOnboardingModal.tsx
now import SettingsModal.css to reach memory-* / auth-provider-card classes
they consume.
Test: settings-mobile.test.tsx had two assertions that incorrectly matched
literal pixel values; updated to the actual var(--space-*) token values
present in the rules. Verified live in browser (settings + memory tabs
render cleanly).
styles.css total reduction across the three sweeps: 4551 → 2509 (–45%).

- Add cross-browser scrollbar styling for settings sidebar and content panes using existing design tokens
- Extend settings mobile CSS tests to assert the new scrollbar rules for WebKit and Firefox-compatible properties
- Refactor dashboard TUI app tests to render via React.createElement for compatibility with current test tooling
- Tidy mission e2e mock ID generators to satisfy formatting/quality gate checks
Split app/styles.css from ~40k lines down to ~4.5k. Created 56 co-located
component CSS files in app/components/, each imported by its owning .tsx.
The remainder of styles.css holds genuinely global rules (design tokens,
.btn/.card/.modal/.form-input primitives, cross-component @media overrides).
- Lazy-load 13 heavy views (AgentsView, RoadmapsView, NodesView, etc.) via
React.lazy + Suspense; prefetch all chunks on idle so first navigation is
instant. Initial JS bundle: 1.58 MB → 1.16 MB (-26%). Initial CSS bundle:
635 kB → 471 kB (-26%); the rest splits into 13 per-view chunks.
- Add app/test/cssFixture.ts exposing loadAllAppCss() + loadAllAppCssBaseOnly()
so CSS regression tests load the full per-component bundle (mirroring Vite
source order). Migrate 30+ tests off direct readFileSync('../styles.css').
- Enable test.css: { include: [/.+/] } in vitest.config.ts so component CSS
imports actually inject styles in jsdom (fixes getComputedStyle assertions).
- Add ESLint rule (no-restricted-syntax) banning direct styles.css reads in
dashboard test files; points at loadAllAppCss() instead.
- Restore lost utility classes (.text-muted, .text-secondary, .text-dim,
.form-input) and rescue dropped chat tool-call rules into QuickChatFAB.css.
- Mobile fixes along the way: scroll containment for view containers
(min-height:0 + -webkit-overflow-scrolling), QuickChatFAB full-screen on
mobile (with safe-area-inset for iOS home bar), AgentsView single-row
header layout, ActivityLogModal close button on right, model-combobox
z-index above the mobile quick-chat panel.
- Bug fix: SkillsView toggle was display:none which hid the input from the
accessibility tree; replaced with the visually-hidden pattern so screen
readers + getByRole still find the checkbox.
- Bug fix: standalone Delete button in TaskDetailModal for triage-column
tasks (Actions dropdown is hidden in triage state, so previously no way
to delete a freshly-created task without status change first).

Every agent-facing quality gate that used to pair tests with typecheck now
also includes lint. Specifically:
- core/src/types.ts: QA Check skill prompt runs lint, tests, typecheck (was
tests only) and gates task_done() on all three.
- core/src/agent-prompts.ts + engine/src/reviewer.ts: "Do NOT issue REVISE"
exclusion list now covers lint as well, so out-of-scope fixes that
restore lint remain allowed (matches the already-lint-aware completion
gate text at the top of the same prompts).
- engine/src/executor.ts: task_done() pre-flight checklist adds an explicit
"if the repo has a lint command, run it and fix failures" bullet, mirrors
the typecheck bullet, and expands the CRITICAL line from "ALL test
failures" to "ALL lint, test, and typecheck failures".
- core/src/store.ts: default Step 2 checklist (Testing & Verification) now
includes Lint and Typecheck alongside "All tests pass".
- cli/src/commands/plugin-scaffold.ts: generated plugin README and the
"Next steps" CLI output include \`pnpm lint\` between install and test.
Existing prompts that already paired lint with tests+typecheck (the
Completion section, hard quality gates, triage testing requirements) are
unchanged.
