The merge normalizes mention filtering in the chat components to handle underscore-prefixed handles, introducing a new `mentionMatching.ts` utility consumed by `AgentMentionPopup`, `ChatView`, and `QuickChatFAB`, with matching tests. Remove a useless try/catch wrapper in the engine's execute-once-then-complete approval gate. Internal cleanup; no behavior change. Eliminates the workspace's last ESLint no-useless-catch warning.
